Kalimantan – Bupati kabupaten Berau, Kalimantan Timur, Muharram meninggal dunia karena Covid-19.
Muharram meninggal dunia diusia 52 tahun, Selasa (23/9/2020). Sebelum meninggal sempat dirawat di rumah sakit Pertamina, Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur. Jasadnya langsung dimakamkan di pemakaman Kilometer 15, Balikpapan Utara, dengan protokol kesehatan.
Sebelumnya, Muharram diketahui mendampingi Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Edhy Prabowo, saat melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Maratua, kabupaten Berau, Kalimantan Timur, pada Selasa (1/9/2020). 2 hari kemudian, Kamis (3/9/2020), Edhy Prabowo dinyatakan positif Covid-19.
Bupati kabupaten Berau mengetahui dirinya positif Covid-19 dari hasil Swab Test dari rumah sakit Kanujoso Dtatiwibowo. Dan diumumkannya melalui video yang diunggah di media sosial pada Rabu (9/9/2020).
