Depok – Cake atau bolu adalah kue berbahan dasar tepung yang diminati banyak orang. Dalam perkembangannya, bolu memiliki banyak varian (macamnya). Ada bolu berbentuk bulat, kotak dan digulung.

Saat ini kue bolu banyak yang dihias krim mentega atau pun selai. Bolu juga menjadi bahan dasar kue ulang tahun dan kue pengantin (tart).

Bahan-bahan:

Tepung terigu 200 gram

Gula pasir 130 gram

Telor ayam min 6 butir

Baking powder 1/2 sendok

Mentega 150 gram

Vanilli/pewangi 1 bungkus

Cara pengolahan:

Cairkan mentega dengan cara dipanaskan. Telur, gula pasir, vanili dan baking powder dimasukan ke dalam baskom lalu dimixer, setelah mengembang turunkan level kecepatan mixer. Lalu dimasukan tepung terigu yang sudah disaring dan mentega cair. Setelah tercampur semua, adonan dicetak di Banking Pan dan masukan ke dalam oven selama 30 menit

Untuk hasil lebih nikmat dan menarik, ambil sedikit adonan lalu campur dengan coklat bubuk dan aduk sampai rata. Setelah rata,  masukan ke dalam adonan dalam loyang. Atau bisa juga dihias menjadi kue ulang tahun dna kue pengantin.
