Rizieq datang untuk memenuhi 2 panggilan sebelumnya yang dilayangkan Polisi.

Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus saat dihubungi melalui telepon selular mengatakan hari ini tidak ada pemanggilan kepada Habib Rizieq Shihab, Sabtu (12/12/2020).

“MRS itu takut ditangkap, jadi dia menyerah dan datang ke Polda Metro Jaya. Yang penting kata kuncinya dia menyerah, dia takut, karena takut dia menyerah, bukan panggilan,” kata Yusri.

Yusri menegaskan, Rizieq harus menjalani protokol kesehatan sebelum diperiksa sebagai tersangka, yaitu Swab Antigen. 

“Iya Swab Antigen, kemudian kita berikan surat perintah penangkapan, kita lakukan pemeriksaan sebagai tersangka ya,” tegas Yusri.

Menurut Yusri, Polisi memiliki waktu 24 jam untuk menentukan Habib Rizieq ditahan atau tidak.

“Untuk penahanan kan kewenangan dari penyidik, melihat nanti alasan objektif dan subjektif. Kita punya waktu 1×24 jam. Nah nanti bru bisa ditntukan apakah ditahan, ” jelas Yusri. 

Sementara untuk 5 orang tersangka lainnya, Polisi memberikan 2 opsi. Menyerahkan diro atau ditangkap.
