Jakarta – Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta melalui Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta umumkan hasil Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) Jalur Zonasi jenjang SMP – SMA pada Sabtu (27/6/2020).
Secara akumulatif, Calon Peserta Didik Baru (CPDB) jenjang SMP yang diterima pada Jalur Zonasi tahun ini sebanyak 31.011 siswa. Sedangkan, CPDB jenjang SMA yang diterima sebanyak 12.684 siswa. Jalur Zonasi ini sebesar 40% dari kuota siswa baru yang diterima di sekolah.
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta Nahdiana mengatakan, hingga ditutupnya pendaftaran Jalur Zonasi, menunjukkan terdapat 92,4% siswa dalam rentang usia normal yaitu 15-16 tahun untuk kelas 1 SMA yang diterima. Sedangkan, usia tertua yang diterima, yakni 20 tahun hanya 0,06% (7 siswa). Sebaran usia SMA yang diterima lewat jalur zonasi, yaitu, 16 tahun 52,8%, 15 tahun 39,7%, 13-14 Tahun 0,2%, sementara usia 17 tahun 6%, dan 18-20 tahun 1,4%.
Sementara itu, untuk siswa yang diterima di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), terdapat 96,9% usia 12-13 tahun yang diterima. Sebaran penerimaan siswa SMP yaitu, 14-15 tahun 2,8%, 13 tahun 29,6%, 12 tahun 67,3%, dan 10-11 tahun 0,3%.
Jalur Zonasi adalah jalur untuk calon peserta didik memilih sekolah di Jakarta dengan berdasarkan pada zona sekolah yang sesuai dengan domisili calon peserta didik. Sekolah yang berlokasi di luar zonanya tidak bisa dipilih.
Perlu diketahui bahwa zona sekolah adalah daftar sekolah yang terletak di kelurahan yang sama atau kelurahan tetangga dengan domisili calon peserta didik. Daftar sekolah dalam sebuah zona ditetapkan oleh Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta berdasarkan pertimbangan jarak dengan kelurahan domisili, daya tampung sekolah, dan jumlah penduduk.
Adapun zona sekolah di DKI Jakarta sebanyak 267 zona di setiap jenjang pendidikan. Zona tersebut diterapkan sejak tahun 2017 tanpa mengalami perubahan dan digunakan setiap tahun, termasuk dalam PPDB tahun 2020.
Proses seleksi pendaftaran dengan menggunakan Jalur Zonasi adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Seleksi Tahap I adalah dengan membatasi berdasarkan zona sekolah
2. Seleksi Tahap II berdasarkan Usia
3. Seleksi Tahap III berdasarkan urutan Pilihan Sekolah
4. Seleksi Tahap IV berdasarkan waktu mendaftar
Sebagai informasi, jalur PPDB yang sudah berlangsung hingga saat ini, yaitu Jalur Prestasi Non Akademik dengan kuota 5% (15-16 Juni 2020), Jalur Afirmasi dengan kuota 25% (19-22 Juni 2020) dan Jalur Zonasi dengan kuota 40% (25-27 Juni 2020).
Untuk CPDB yang belum diterima di jalur sebelumnya dapat mengikuti kembali proses penerimaan melalui Jalur Prestasi Akademik dengan kuota 20% untuk warga DKI Jakarta dan 5% untuk warga luar DKI Jakarta yang akan dilaksanakan pada 1-3 Juli 2020. Seleksi utama yang digunakan dalam Jalur Prestasi Akdemik ini memperhitungkan rata-rata nilai akademik selama 5 semester terakhir dan nilai akreditasi sekolah asal.
