Manado – Polda Sulawesi Utara tangkap 4 orang pemalsuan data aktivasi sim card hp. Salah satunya Branch Manager. Tim Maleo Polda Sulawesi Utara berhasil meringkus 4 tersangka pemalsu data aktivasi sim card milik Indosat. Tersangkanya yaitu: TKA (48) seorang Branch Manager PT. MDM yang berperan sebagai pemilik, VRM (24) mahasiswa warga kecamatan Wanea, Mando berperan sebagai operator yang merubah dan meregistrasi sim card, FER (33) warga kecamatan Tomohon Utara berperan sebagai operator micro cluster Tomohon, Minahasa dan seorang wanita AMP (26) warga kota Mobagu yang berperan sebagai operator merubah dan meregistrasi sim card.
Dalam penangkapan polisi berhasil mengamankan sim card bermerk IM3 siap jual sebanyak 49.582, komputer desktop, dan laptop.
