Jakarta – Pemerintah bentuk tim gugus tugas pemulihan ekonomi, untuk mempercepat proses pemulihan pandemi Covid-19 dan membangkitkan kembali ekonomi IndonesiaGugus Tugas yang dipimpin langsung oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, dibantu oleh Menko Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto. Pembentukan gugus tugas ini tak hanya akan mengintegrasikan program perang melawan covid-19 yang sudah dilakukan seluruh instrumen pemerintah sejak pandemi ini merebak pada April lalu dan Program Pemulihan Ekonomi.
Presiden menunjuk menteri BUMN Erick Thohir sebagai Ketua Pelaksana Harian. Ketua pelaksana gugus tugas pemulihan Covid-19 dan ekonomi nasional akan mengambil peran dalam mensinergikan sekaligus mengorkestrasi seluruh Kementerian di Kabinet Indonesia Maju jilid 2 ini dalam mengaplikasikan program-program terkait penanganan virus Corona dan upaya pemulihan ekonomi.
“Ini tanggung jawab yang besar karena pertaruhannya sangat tinggi. Di antara pilihan gagal atau berhasil, sudah tentu kita akan komitmen untuk berhasil. Harus yakin itu. Ada banyak negara yang sukses, menekan virus dan ekonominya mulai bangkit. Itu bisa ditiru. Tapi ada juga yang terkena resesi. Itu juga harus dijadikan contoh supaya kita tidak mengalami. Jika kita bersama, pasti kita bisa,” kata Erick Thohir.
Misi yang diemban gugus tugas pemulihan ini tidak mudah. Di depan ada tantangan antara mengatasi dampak dari jumlah positif Covid-19 di Tanah Air yang masih tinggi dan menghidupkan sektor ekonomi yang harus bergeliat dengan segala pembatasan mobilitas, aturan protokol kesehatan dan keselamatan yang ketat, pengetatan anggaran demi efisiensi, serta pengaruh besar dari lingkungan global.
“Sama seperti 2 tahun lalu, saat kita menggelar Asian Games 2018. Ketika itu, hampir semua suara, baik dari dalam atau luar negeri, meragukan dan pesimistis.
