Andi didakwa Pengadilan Negeri Makassar atas dugaan pelanggaran karantina kesehatan yang tercantum dalam undang-undang pasal 93. Bersama 1 terdakwa lainnya Nur Rahman, Andi duduk di kursi pesakitan.Ā
Politisi Partai Keadilan Sejahtera diketahui menjadi penjamin pengambilan paksa jenazah positif Covid-19 di rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) Daya, kota Makasar, Sulawesi Selatan, pada 27 Juni 2020 lalu.Ā
Ketua Majelis Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Makassar Ibrahim Palino mengagendakan mendengarkan pembacaan dakwaan, yaitu 2 terdakwa dijerat pasal 214 KUHP, pasal 112 KUHP, juncto pasal 93 undang-undang nomor 6 tahun 2018, juncto pasal 55 KUHP, dengan ancaman hukuman penjara 7 tahun.
