Aceh – Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara Erick Thohir temani presiden Joko Widodo resmikan Jalan tol pertama di Aceh.
Peresmian jalan Tol Trans Sumatera (JTTS) ruas Sigli-Banda Aceh seksi 4 (Indrapuri – Blang Bintang) sepanjang 13,5 kilometer, dilakukan di Gerbang Tol Blang Bintang, Banda Aceh, NAD, Selasa (25/8/2020).
Erick Thohir mengatakan, jalan tol merupakan bukti keberpihakan dan pemerataan pembangunan. Infrastruktur transportasi sangat dibutuhkan dalam rangka pemulihan ekonomi nasional, mendukung jalur logistik dan distribusi barang-barang kebutuhan, serta mempercepat mobilitas masyarakat.
“Ini merupakan satu bukti keberpihakan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi juga harus terjadi di Sumatera bukan hanya di Jawa, sehingga dukungan yang diberikan BUMN untuk penyelesaian infrastruktur jalan tol ini sangat maksimal,” kata Erick.
Menurut Erick Thohir, pembangunan JTTS ruas Sigli-Banda Aceh merupakan bagian dari proyek strategis nasional untuk menghubungkan ujung timur dan barat Sumatera ini melibatkan peran besar BUMN. Selain Adhi Karya sebagai kontraktor, Kementerian BUMN juga mengucurkan Penyertaan Modal Negara (PMN) sebesar Rp 7,5 triliun kepada pemilik JTTS, Hutama Karya untuk penyelesaian tol pertama di Aceh.
“Ini merupakan tol pertama yang mampu direalisasikan pemerintah di sisi barat Indonesia. Pembangunan tol ini tergolong cepat dan dalam konteks terkini untuk mendukung pemulihan ekonomi nasional, adanya tol ini sangat membantu transportasi, distribusi barang dan logistik, serta mobilisasi
masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Dengan rampungnya seksi 4 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan konektivitas dari Banda Aceh ke Sigli dan sebaliknya dari Sigli-Indrapuri ke Bandara Udara Internasional Sultan Iskandar Muda yang berada di kecamatan Blang Bintang, Kabupaten Aceh Besar.
“Seksi 4 ini lebih dahulu diprioritaskan karena dekat dengan Bandara. Hal ini sangat penting untuk kelancaran transportasi serta menunjang sektor-sektor lain, seperti pariwisata yang diharapkan segera pulih dalam kenormalan baru ini,” ucap Erick Thohir.
Tol Sigli – Banda Aceh terdiri dari 6 seksi yaitu seksi 1 Padang Tiji – Seulimum (24,3 km), seksi 2 Seulimum – Jantho (7,6 km), seksi 3 Jantho – Indrapuri (16 km), seksi 4 Indrapuri – Blang Bintang (13,5 km), seksi 5 Blang Bintang – Kuta Baro (7,7 km) dan seksi 6 Kuto Baro –Baitussalam (5 km).
