Sukoharjo – MJI alias IA (22) terduga teroris di kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah terpaksa ditembak Densus 88 anti teror Polri, Jumat (10/72020) pukul 13.30 WIB
Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Pol Argo Yuwono mengatakan, MJI melawan dengan senjata tajam saat akan ditangkap, Minggu (12/7/2020).
“Saat akan dilakukan perlawanan tersangka MJI melawan dengan menggunakan senjata tajam sehingga dilakukan penindakan terarah dan terukur,” ucap Argo.
Dari pengembangan penyidikan Densus 88, MJI ternyata berkaitan dengan Karyono Widodo, penyerang Wakapolres Karanganyar Kompol Busroni di Tawangmangu, Minggu (21/6/2020) lalu.
MJI sempat dirawat di RSUP dr Kariadi Semarang, Jumat 10 Juli 2020 petang dan meninggal, Sabtu 11 Juli 2020 sekitar pukul 17.20 WIB.
Argo menyebut selain MJI, rentetan tersangka kasus penyerangan itu juga ada seorang perempuan berinisial IS warga Semarang Utara Kota Semarang. Kemudian ada 2 orang lainnya Y dan W, warga Boyolali. Y seorang pedagang ikan sementara W sehari-hari berprofesi sebagai tukang ojek online.
Kelompok ini berafiliasi dengan ISIS, yang juga berencana meledakkan markas polisi di Lampung. Saat ini Y, IS dan W ditahan untuk pengembangan penyidikan selanjutnya.
